What do you get when you put two normally very unlucky people in the Bronx right next to Yankee Stadium? Free Yankee tickets!!! What are the chances? We journeyed up to the Bronx today hoping to get the cheap $5 bleacher tickets to the Yankees game. When we got to the ticket office all they had left were $50+ tickets, a little out of our budget. Before heading home we took a walk around the stadium and bought a jumbo pretzel from a street vendor. Sitting in the shade eating our pretzel, we were approached by a couple heading into the stadium. They had two extra tickets because their two other friends had hangovers and didn't show up. We took the tickets gratefully and headed into the stadium. Turns out the seats were $85 tickets, 18 rows up from left field. We watched the Yankees beat the Blue Jays 7 to 3, with one home run made by the Yankee's left field man. Take me out to the ball game!
