Today was Michelle's first day at the internship...time to get serious! Well, not too serious. Today was orientation and tomorrow is a service day at the Jersey food bank. Maybe we'll get serious Thursday.

We woke up early and went to the gym together then DJ walked Michelle to the subway stop. The Maryland metro has an area of their park-n-ride parking called the kiss-n-ride, where a spouse drops the other off. That's what we did...we kissed then I rode. I'll be working on the Healthy Living campaign for virtual employees. There is tons of interest around the project so it should be a great opportunity to make a big impact in the company. The business leader I'll be working with seems great to work with, very personable. AmEx is known for good work-life balance...and so is Michelle, so it should be a great match! A steady 9 to 5 job almost seems to good to be true in New York!

DJ made good progress on the website and worked on some school stuff. He finally posted on facebook that we are married, shocking another round of old friends. We are grateful to be in the city together. It has been a fun adventure to take on as newlyweds!
