Saturday, October 12th, we visited St. Paul's Cathedral. The original church on this site was built in 604 A.D., though this cathedral was build in the 17th century as part of a major rebuilding program after the great fire of London. It was designed by the famous architect, Christopher Wren. It has the second largest free standing dome, second only to the Vatican. It is where Lord Nelson (of the battle of Trafalgar), the Duke of Wellington, Winston Churchill, and Margaret Thatcher are buried. It was where Prince Charles and Diana were married. We were not allowed to take pictures inside, so I borrowed a few from Wikipedia :)

It's Autumn in Hyde Park! The trees are still quite green and the grass is almost emerald, but we're starting to see some of the beautiful colors of fall!
We're losing daylight quickly, but we still try to find time for a stroll in the park with what daylight we have!
